No Internet Connection, No Xbox One For You!

Microsoft's Don Mattrick has exposed the truth about offline gaming and the Xbox One, its just not going to happen.  You want offline gaming, play the Xbox 360.  I understand the argument that if you are able to buy a Xbox One, chances are you have internet access.  How about those who will be in a situation that they will not have internet access for quite some time, like who knows, someone on a nuclear submarine?  This is what Mattrick had to say in relation to my previous sentence, "Seriously, when I read the blogs and through about who's really the most impacted, there was a person who said, 'Hey I'm on a nuclear sub.'  And I don't even know what it means to be on a nuclear sub, but I've got to imagine it's not easy to get an internet connection.  But hey, I can empathize; if I was on a sub I'd be disappointed."  Ouch.  So tell me what you think about the Xbox One and no offline gaming.

  1. XBOX1 SUCKS ASSHOLE. OMFG I KNEW ONCE PS4 CAME OUT WITH THEIR STUFF AND SAW THE DIFFERENCE IN WHAT THEY HAD TO OFFER THAT I HAD TO TRY AND GET MUH PEEPS TO BUY A PS4 AND NOT XBOX1. THAT WAS WAY BEFORE I EVEN HEARD ABOUT ALL THE RESTRICTIONS THAT XBOXNONE HAS PUT ON ITS CONSOLE. ITS LIKE A FANCY DVR OR SOME SHIT, KILL YOSELF XBOX1 KILL... YOSELF. YOU HAVE NO GOOD EXCLUSIVES. THE ONLY GOOD ONE WAS RYSE AND EVEN THAT SHIT IS GONNA BE ON THE PS4 LATER. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE.

On a more civil less angry note they pretty much did me a favor. Now I don't have to worry about what friends are playing what games on which system.... everyone I know is TeamPS4. Thanks XboxNone you made my whole life easier ^_^. **Flips XboxOne The Bird**

  2. until this moment....I had no clue that you could post a pic in comments lol. Omg the friggin Xbox One can eat one! Like...really. "Wanna play offline.....sheeeeeeeet...better get a 360." The hell?! Some people don't have internet like Microsoft would expect. Hell...some people can barely afford it. I think that it is really a shame that Microsoft would release something aimed at people that live a lifestyle of always being connected. What about the rest of the gamers? Respect your customers Microsoft! Windows 8 was enough of a letdown. Don't let a respectible system follow suit!

  4. I totally agree with you. They have gotten too arrogant. Now they don't know what to say after Sony walked up and assured gamers that gaming is still a priority on a console.

its a damn shame that microsoft went from the awesome 360 to this crappy xbox one that is basically cable and it looks like a vcr from the 90s x.x

  8. Np lol. Apparently gamers aren't the priority. Some data showed that people spend 140-150hrs on xbox360 doing other stuff. Gamer about 80-85hrs. Soo... some people were saying thats why theyve focused more on non-gaming stuff.

  10. That's all it really comes down to without an internet connection. It is sad to see how Microsoft makes terrible moves despite fan backlash. Prime example being Windows 8 and how they thought that removing the start menu would be revolutionary.

  11. It's as if they fail to realize that we want to be able to play our games whether we are online or offline. There are times that the internet goes down while playing and can be down for sometime, nobody wants to sit there and say damn, I can't check in now I can't play. It's just dumb.

  12. I totally agree. While at gamestop the other day, the dude at the register was giving his opinion about all of this. He was saying that this was Microsoft's way of introducing a new idea off of consumers and see what they thought about it. Sort of like a free market survey. I am really interested in what they're going to do after this year's E3 disaster.
